The Rural Oklahoma Museum of Poetry in Grove, is not your typical kind of museum. Yes it’s about poetry, but it’s also about bring people and poetry together to encourage wordplay and literacy. But visitors can also find everything from a collection of antique autograph books to an exhibit on the 19th amendment on women’s voting rights. But when you visit, you are encouraged to write poems or messages and stick them on the wall. And in the back, there’s an exhibit dedicated to writing poetry about Oklahoma wildflowers!
