This Smithsonian affiliated museum is impressive on a number of levels. You can not only get a very good history of aviation at the Stafford Air and Space Museum in Weatherford, but an in depth look into the impressive career of native Oklahoman General Thomas Stafford himself. The museum serves as an incredible educational facility whose goal it is to inspire young people also! And now the museum is expanding and is adding more exhibits, the newest of which highlights Apollo moon missions! Currently this is the only museum that has both full-sized replicas of a Command Service Module and a Lunar Module.
