There is much to appreciate about public art. It can not only create an attachment to one’s community, but also the art can affect a community’s sense of place. The sculpture “Under Her Wing is The Universe” is a perfect example of that. The gifted & talented artist Romy Owens certainly had her hometown of Enid in mind when she created this large, very distinctive work of art. Located near downtown Enid, this impressive sculpture can be seen both during the day and night!
