Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center - Enid

From the living in sod houses to palaces on the prairie, you can learn the history of our early settlers when you visit the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center in Enid. The museum tells the story of the settlement and the development of northwest Oklahoma through its permanent collection beginning with the land run of 1893. So, it is really about how people in that area started to live and all the different kinds of stories are told through interactive exhibits along with other artifacts as you go through the five galleries!
