As part of the National Route 66 & Transportation Museum in Elk City, you will find two fascinating museums; the Blacksmith Museum and the Farm and Ranch Museum. At the first, you can see how blacksmiths took steel and iron, then with heat, hammered and transformed them into useful objects. The Farm and Ranch Museum features tools of the trade from early farm life in western Oklahoma. But contemporary equipment can also be seen as well as tractors from different eras, barbwire collections and windmills!
