Dobson Museum & Memorial Center - Miami

History is preserved for all to learn at the Dobson Museum in Miami. In 1892, the Dobson Family stopped their covered wagon in Miami and make it their hometown. From their home, they created a historical museum and now has several exhibits and covers all of Ottawa County. The museum sits about a block off of Route 66 so there is a section of the building dedicated to The Mother Road. Exhibits cover the 9 Native American tribes headquartered there too as well as areas that talk about the extensive roster of talented people from the area.
