Generations in Modern Pueblo Painting Exhibit at the Fred Jones, Jr. Museum of Art - Norman

Visit a first of its kind exhibit at the Fred Jones, Jr. Museum of Art on the University of Oklahoma campus. Generations in Modern Pueblo Painting: The Art of Tonita Pena and Joe Herrera showcases more than 60 works of art by the mother and son are uniquely on display. Tonita Pena was an American Indian artist who was ahead of her time and she passed her talents to her son Joe Herrera. This is a large-scale, high-quality, scholarly exhibition of three generations of modern Pueblo painting.
