Wild West Weather Exhibit - OKC

Come celebrate Oklahoma’s unique weather at the Wild Western Weather Exhibit. Beginning with recent regional droughts as a jumping off point, this exhibit seeks to explore historically how much weather has affected the day to day life of people living in the Southwest. Blizzards, droughts, floods, violent thunder storms and tornadoes have all collided with the people of the prairie becoming an integral part of their identity. This highly interactive exhibit focuses on how rugged weather shaped and continues to influence attitudes and western heritage in the Southwestern part of the United States. This exhibit runs Feb 5 - Apr 8, 2016.
